How much does it cost to install a new boiler?
Prices for a new boiler vary greatly because they depend on many factors such as the type, size and brand of the replacement boiler and any additional costs that may result from the installation itself. Typically, a new boiler installation will cost you between £1,500 to £4,000.
However, the old saying “buy cheap, buy twice” also applies to boilers, and there are many reasons why a cheaper boiler may not be the best way forward. Budget boilers have shorter life spans and often only offer warranties of up to 2 years. They also tend to be more expensive to maintain and do not offer the same energy and cost savings as mid or upper-range boilers. So, in the long run, you may be better off with investing a few more pounds into your new boiler.
